Dear friends!

Corona has hit lots of businesses like a wildfire. We are experiencing cancelled events, productions, and campaigns. At Groves, we already went „virtual“ last week, but many people don’t seem to have understood the importance of social distancing.

So, instead of just sitting around we had a brainstorming session (on-line) and we’ve come up with an idea: We want to support the #flattenthecurve initiative and help to get people to stay at home by giving them an earworm! We want to plague them with a new adapted version of „Go West“ by the Village People, and make it the official „Stay Home“ song!

And this is where you come in!

We have written some new lyrics and would like you to record yourself singing a verse and the refrain – and make a video of yourself while you’re doing it! 🙂  Drop your file into the dropbox and we will create a video of the whole song, showing people from all over the world spreading the message #FlattenTheCurve.

But if this is going to have any effect, we have to be quick. You have to get your file to us before 9:00 AM CET on Monday 23rd. Let us know how you want to appear in the credits „Name, Company, Location“ to flattenthecurve@groves.de ASAP.

So go for it! Be inventive. Be outrageous. You don’t have to be in a studio. You can record yourself on your mobile phone, while tight-rope walking, in the bath, or in the most silly and amusing places you can think of!! But you have to be „at home“!

Let’s make this video go around the world and make sure everyone understands the importance of social distancing and staying at home for us in this threatening times!”
